Double Joy Cookies

A kitchen-table cookie business, turned into a site that takes and runs its own orders.

Double Joy Cookies custom decorated cookie set

The One Thing

Custom cookies are impossible to order from a text box. So we stopped asking people to describe what they wanted.

Double Joy started the way a lot of real businesses do — birthday cookies for her own two girls, made because she wanted them to look right, not because there was a business plan. Word got around, and the orders outgrew what a phone number and a DM inbox could handle.

The actual problem wasn't the baking — it was that "custom decorated cookies" means wildly different things to different customers, and nobody orders well from a blank message box. So instead of a contact form, we built an interactive designer around the three real tiers Double Joy already bakes to — simple, custom, and fully custom — so a customer can see exactly what they're choosing before they ever have to describe it in words.

See It In Action

The live site, scrolled top to bottom — the cookie designer in motion.

I honestly didn't even know how to explain the brand that was in my head. Somehow they figured it out anyway. The site feels exactly like Double Joy, and I've already had people tell me they found me through it. I couldn't be happier.
